Where To Visit

Duomo

Located in the heart of the city, the Duomo is one of the largest and most intricate cathedrals in the world.

The Duomo offers panoramic views of Milan and the surrounding Lombardy region. To enjoy these magnificent views involves a climb, either by stairs or lift, but the reward is a breathtaking panorama that includes the city skyline, the nearby Alps, and, of course, the intricate architectural details of the cathedral itself.

QC Terme Milano

Nestled in the heart of Milan, QC Terme, offers a haven of relaxation and wellness in the midst of the bustling city.

You can indulge in a variety of spa treatments or you can just relax in their variety of rooms, including the Porta Romana tram (the first bio-sauna in the world to be built inside a tram), the Undewater Museum, (a crystal-walled pool built around ancient archaeological remains) or their thermal baths, which are fed by the natural mineral-rich waters that have been revered for their therapeutic properties for centuries.

After exploring all there is to offer, you will be served drinks and nibbles in the spa's restaurant, before finishing off your stay with a final visit to your favourite rooms (for us this was their sauna and then their steam room filled with peppermint and eucalyptus oils)

Whether you're looking to unwind after a day of exploring Milan or seeking a luxurious retreat in the heart of the city, QC Terme Milano provides an unparalleled sanctuary of relaxation and rejuvenation.

Where To Eat

Cantine Milano

Cantine Milano is dedicated to providing a unique dining atmosphere and a diverse menu that celebrates the rich flavours of Italian cuisine. It's the first Italian wine restaurant where you choose the wine first and then the food, to give it the importance it deserves at the table.

The restaurant even produces it's own olive oil, both regular and lemon (which we're still dreaming about).

We opted for the 3 course tasting menu for 50 euros which was exquisite - meatballs with beef, sausage and scamorza cheese, followed by truffle taglioni and then finally, slow cooked braized beef (pictured above).

A warm and inviting atmosphere, with very attentive and knowledgable waiting staff. Whether you're seeking a cosy spot for a romantic dinner, a casual gathering with friends, or a celebratory meal, Cantine Milano will not disappoint.

Rinascente

La Rinascente in Milan is a prestigious and iconic department store in the heart of the city. Located in Piazza del Duomo, right next to the magnificent Milan Cathedral, La Rinascente is not just a retail destination but a cultural and lifestyle landmark.

Aside from the high-end fashion, beauty, home decor, and food market, one of the key attractions of La Rinascente is its rooftop terrace, which offers a breathtaking panoramic view of Milan's skyline, including the majestic Duomo. Order a cocktail and you will be served an array of nibbles, all whilst enjoying the stunning views of the city.
